Magazine – I work with a number of nationally distributed magazines as a contributing feature writer and am looking to do more of the same.

Newsprint – Freelancing has been something that I’ve done off the corner of my desk since 2007. I got my start writing short opinion pieces for the Abbotsford News before landing a regular column over at the Abbotsford Times. Many of my columns have been re-published in newspapers throughout Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley.

Online – My work has been commissioned for various online sources.

I have spent the last ten years of my life working primarily with a wandering and questioning crowd of twenty-somethings in church and university settings. Most of my writing and speaking over the years has been with and for this crowd. I love to tell stories that matter. Stories of cheap motels, time spent living in the desert, snowboarding, fireworks, coffee, hitch hiking, and singing and dancing in strange cities with strange people make up a fraction of the tales worth telling. I’d love to experiment with you and help create something worth reading for our generation.

I have years of experience working on deadline with editors and am always open to critique, criticism, suggestions, and revision.  You may contact me here.
